Behold the town of Bolungarvík, nestled nicely in this fjord.

It’s a fish that’s been hung up to dry.  Yes, this is part of the exhibit at Ósvör, the Icelandic fishing museum.  And here are more of them:

I don’t know if this is an old fishing house that has survived, or a reconstruction.  But you can see, at any rate, how the Icelandic fishing families used to live.

Following the story I told you about the seals, I feel bad for showing you a seal skin being used as a blanket, but here it is, adorning an old-fashioned Icelandic bed.
